Are you sleeping peacefully at night? If not, take a look around your bedroom to check for energy zappers. From a Feng Shui perspective, dramatic artwork, bold patterns and bright colors are too stimulating for the bedroom and could contribute to restlessness. While they are fine for gathering areas of the home, it best to choose more soothing (yin) colors and artwork for this room.
Televisions, computers, smartphones and even digital alarm clocks emit electromagnetic radiation that will also impact your restful night’s sleep, so keep them out of the bedroom or, at a minimum, 6 to 8 feet from the bed. Check to see if there are any large electrical appliances located on the other side of the wall where your bed is located. If so, unplug them at night or move the bed. If your bed shares a wall with an adjoining room’s stove, oven, sink or toilet, move the bed to a better location to prevent burning up or washing away your sweet dreams!
