Green in 2013
In 2013’s Yin Water Snake year, the color green is considered to be very auspicious! Symbolic of wood, trees, springtime, morning and the east in Chinese metaphysics and Feng Shui, the color green represents change, steady growth, healing energy and expansion. Coincidentally, PANTONE’S ‘Color of the Year’ for 2013 is Emerald Green, so there should be plenty of choices to include in your wardrobe, home and workplace decor. Avoid dull or murky tones (think spring, not autumn!) and choose instead the vibrant shades found in nature such as apple, grass or kelly green. Living plants, pictures of trees, verdant fields and green accessories will energize you and help bring success in your endeavors, especially this year.
