Peace
We have transitioned from February’s lunar month of the Fire Tiger into the month of the Fire Rabbit on March 1. The Rabbit is the diplomat of the twelve Chinese astrological animals – docile, humble and wise. Her yin nature is associated with women, children, healing, protection and the arts. She dislikes confrontation, preferring flight to fight, and values her family, the arts and intelligent leadership by example. Unlike her dramatic and ferocious Tiger predecessor who thrives on dominance and change (sometimes through revolution,) Rabbit’s energy is more thoughtful and subdued. She reacts to crisis situations with poise and always through humanitarian eyes.
In this year of the flammable Yang Wood Horse, let us hope that spring Rabbit’s energy will help de-escalate and stabilize all political and military conflicts currently smoldering around the world.
May cooler heads prevail.
Wishing you good ch’i,
