How has the Horse year been treating you?

If you’re anything like me, it’s been quite a spirited ride so far. As expected, we came out of the gate running in February and quickly discovered there are more than a few furlongs before the finish line. If you heeded my advice to pace yourself early on, you’re cantering now and taking small breaks along the way. If not, it might be a good time to pause and catch your breath.

This time of year more than any other always reminds me of those turns in the road when the enormity of change meets us head-on while rounding the corner. Ready or not, weddings, graduations and moves that have been anticipated for the longest time seem to creep up on us like a surprise. It’s a mixed bag of beginnings and endings, joys and sorrows, holding on and letting go. From a Feng Shui perspective, this is the time when the Wood energy of spring fuels the Fire energy of summer in a blaze of glory and optimism. But no matter how well prepared we are, change (like the fiery Horse) is swift and sure and often catches us off guard. Even though we know it’s inevitably good, it’s rarely easy.

In many ways, this is a milestone year for me, including the ten year anniversary of

Wind and Water Feng Shui Consulting

When I began studying Feng Shui in 1990, I never imagined I’d be teaching its wisdom to others. But here we are. In this time, my feng shui family has grown and spread like ivy – radiating good ch’i all around the world. I’ve shared your troubles, hopes and dreams, watched your families grow and careers prosper. Together we’ve raised children and grandchildren, started businesses, hired employees, revamped corporate offices,  renovated, designed and built homes and transitioned to others. We’ve uncovered hidden talents and planned futures with Four Pillars insight. In my travels, consultations, workshops and lectures, I’ve converted more than a few skeptics and met the most fascinating people. These meaningful connections and feng shui success stories have validated my work every step of the way. For this I am grateful and I count you among my blessings.

I hope the month of June is good to you and that you enjoy smooth transitions.  Be sure to celebrate your milestones and as always, let me know if I can help.

Share the good ch’i,

Diane Gallin, CFSC
